Wow. I may be a woman but we've had our share of car problems before and I know a bit from all that. I start off every interaction asking how the person's day is going so that I can prepare for a friendly experience. The woman answering the phone seemed very nice and listened to my concern initially. I called to get an estimate on spark plugs for my van (knowing that I'm just asking about spark plugs and if there are other codes we'd address those as needed). She stated that they don't like to give quotes over the phone and explained some different scenarios that could indicate a problem I didn't foresee (that's great and it helped me understand that my concern is likely what the issue is). However when I tried to explain that, she repeatedly talked over me and then when I asked for clarification (because of a quick calculation being the same as she'd just said for another scenario) she started speaking slowly and emphatically, with an attitude. I felt talked down to and I would not bring my van here even if it is the cheapest (which it isn't).
Hi Madelon, Ashley felt horrible when she read your review. She is sorry and wants you to know that when she slowed down after you asked for clarification, it was because she has a tendency to talk fast, especially when it was busy like today. Over 65% of our customers are women and we work hard to communicate honestly with everyone. Again, we apologize for the miscommunication and we hope you were able to get your car taken care of elsewhere. Happy Easter!
